Hi, I’m Stephanie — the heart and lens behind Golden Roots Photography. I’m a Northeast Ohio photographer capturing families, motherhood, and love stories in a way that feels honest, warm, and rooted in real life.

Golden Roots was born from my own season of motherhood and a deep appreciation for how quickly life changes. One moment you’re waiting on a baby, the next you’re chasing toddlers, celebrating milestones, or standing at the start of a marriage. My work is about preserving those chapters — not perfectly, but authentically.

I serve families and couples throughout Canton, Akron, Massillon, Bolivar, Dover and surrounding Northeast Ohio, offering family photography, maternity + newborn sessions, and wedding coverage that focuses on connection, real moments, over posing and emotion over expectation.

I believe the best photos happen when you feel comfortable being yourself. Whether I’m photographing a growing family, an expectant mama, or a wedding day filled with joyful chaos, my approach stays the same — calm, patient, and intentionally present.
